How did you and Evan meet?
I'm sure I have an incredibly long and detailed post about this in some dusty corner of my blog. Long story short, through my ex-boyfriend at a Putt-Putt golf course. Every time we drive by it, Evan wants to break in and hang out. Maybe we will some night. We're wild like that.

How do you pronounce "Maddox?" And where did you come up with that?
Maddox is pronounced Maddix. Mattix. Mad-dix. Say it fast. Maddix. Maddox. It is NOT "Mad Ox." No. We did not name our son Mad Ox. If you call him that I will hurt you. ;]

His name was just a favorite of both of ours. Evan is a Braves fan and he loves Greg Maddox. I didn't know this was a thing until after his birth when we get asked on the daily if we are Braves fans. You can guess how pleased I am with this.) I heard it at some point a long time ago and really liked it. When I was pregnant it was the first name we tossed around and it stuck but it took us until the week of his birth to agree on a middle name. Evan loved Oliver from the beginning but it took me nine months to agree. Now I can't imagine my Maddox as anything other than Maddox Oliver.

What is the name you had picked out for a girl?
Listen, I'm the most indecisive person on the planet. I was changing my mind on names every five minutes. Evan was set on two names (one for a boy, one for a girl) and I was like, "What about this? What about that?" At least once a day. In the event that I still like the name that Evan picked out in the future and want to use it, I'm not telling. I was obsessed with the name Poet, but Evan wasn't. We'll probably never use it. Maybe I'll save it for a dog or a plant.

Are you Mormon?
No, I am not. 

Do you want more kids? AND When is the next baby coming?
I seriously hate these questions. I love being Maddox's mama and I'm not ready to share myself with another baby yet. I think I want more babies but definitely not yet. I'm still recovering from my first year without any sleep. Give me a nap and then we'll talk.
