NeedtoknowwhathappensnextcauseI'mdyinghere!
Basically I heard Dragon Tattoo is about a murder mystery, but then you learn all about the girl who helps solve the murder and there is a ton of rape and violence in her past, so therfore...I can not do it. Just can't, but I've heard many people loved it.Amy @ AGirlCalledBelovedhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01769636261059338472noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6977860011108381024.post-41575409330811982552012-04-30T14:44:55.746-06:002012-04-30T14:44:55.746-06:00I cannot read girl with the dragon tattoo because ...I cannot read girl with the dragon tattoo because you have 12 seconds go capture my attention, not a whole book. I don't even know what it's about, truthfully. I didn't think that the lovely bones was overly violent but i can definitely understand where you're coming from. You should not read room, then! I have heard about divergent but I don't know anything about it! You're going to have to let me know how it is!larisaahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11351138380491864542noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6977860011108381024.post-75855802226215587532012-04-30T14:39:39.625-06:002012-04-30T14:39:39.625-06:00Yes ma'am! I just need to get thereeee and it's.so.close! Haha I read Narnia when I was little and did book reports on them! Loved those books! Ever. I have serious issues with women's violence in books. I feel books more deeply than I do movies, so I'm careful with my choices. I also couldn't ever read The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo for this reason.
Right now I'm reading "The Power of Six" sequel to "I Am Number Four." I'm liking it. The movie leaves out so much.
Next I plan on reading Divergent and Pandemonium. I might be stuck in a genre rut. But I like it. So I might not be the best for suggestions. Jumped the gun a bit on this post. ;] haha it was ok. Just ok. This is a weird way to put it but I felt like it was underwater. You know how everything is slower underwater? That's how it felt to me. I dont know what I'm talking about. Hahaha it was a good story, but I felt like the huge part happened in the beginning and then nothing. I was told by two people AS I WAS BUYING IT that it was so good and omg you'll love it. So I think I had too high of expectations? Maybe. I don't know.larisaahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11351138380491864542noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6977860011108381024.post-53143761591495379182012-04-30T09:21:25.401-06:002012-04-30T09:21:25.401-06:00Oh, good! I recommend The Woman Warrior by Maxine Hong KIngston which I just read. It's this phenomenally written memoir.Alisonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05225151402437995040noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6977860011108381024.post-7560800116997989422012-04-29T22:12:30.634-06:002012-04-29T22:12:30.634-06:00Hi Larissa! :) The History of Love is one of my fa...Hi Larissa! :) The History of Love is one of my favorite books! I'd love to explain it to you… haha, it's a confusing one, that's for sure! Hey, I've been following you for a while, (actually I came across your blog because my name is Larissa too! I just go by Elle for privacy/security reasons on the blog) Anyway, I'd love if you'd check out my site, and let me know what you think of my recent post! Also, if you'd like, I'd love to have you follow back and become a reader. Thanks :)
xo, elle from Living in Color.Larissa @ Living in Color | A Lifestyle Bloghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16087469051535545425noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6977860011108381024.post-20457064112631944742012-04-29T18:04:49.959-06:002012-04-29T18:04:49.959-06:00Okay first. Let's all be honest and agree that...Okay first. Let's all be honest and agree that duh, we judge a book by its cover. How can you NOT?! If the cover sucks major suckage, well, too bad. Also, I L O V E books that make me cry also for some morbid reason, but I really think it's part of the introvert of us: we love to feel. Or, just you and me: we love to feel. Anything, all of it, now. But actually, I just love tragedy. I love crying. It's stupid and painful and weird. Really weird. Anyway, I'll need to check your list but a few books: The Book Thief, Crossing to Safety, uhhh Wild at Heart. The last one isn't a novel, but changed my life. Oh one more, Still Alice. You will cry your eyes out. I can't wait to see what you think :]
I haven't read any great fiction, lately--rereading Odd Thomas by Dean Koontz, but it's supernatural fiction. An easy read, funny, sweet, and suspenseful.
Can't wait to see more reviews! :]Sarah Petehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09050578073260786213noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6977860011108381024.post-9120648911968032622012-04-28T18:55:54.469-06:002012-04-28T18:55:54.469-06:00thanks for sharing! i absolutely adored ROOM, so I...thanks for sharing! i absolutely adored ROOM, so I'll check out your other books :)

new follower, please stop on by:
http://penelopeblue.blogspot.com/Lorihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12750345064555772193noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6977860011108381024.post-28568243607373503412012-04-28T15:35:14.080-06:002012-04-28T15:35:14.080-06:00great post honey, nice post!
